Cowboy Coming Home is a sweet romance with characters who are their authentic selves。 For Armstrong and Glory romance isn’t wrapped in flowers and chocolates but in the shared satisfaction of a friend, a good day’s work, and happy children。 This was the best kind of story。 I was given a review copy courtesy of the author and this is my honest opinion。

Cowboy Coming HomeI absolutely loved this book! It's a wonderful, heartwarming book。 Neither Glory or Armstrong are looking for love。 But when Armstrong saves Glory from being attacked by a cow and is hurt, she steps in to help him care for his four young sons。 As they spend more time together, they realize something between them just feels right。 The main characters in this book are wonderful, as are the 4 sons。 I love Jessie's faith filled romances and the incredible way her stories are writte Cowboy Coming HomeI absolutely loved this book! Awww! This book is an amazing addition to the series! I can’t wait until the next story。 I loved the characters, both main and side, and I found their problems and chemistry to be well-written。 A clean romance that I definitely recommend。

I really liked this second book in the series because of the wonderful characters。  Glory was a very down to earth character that loved her family and her life。  I liked how she opened her heart to help Armstrong and his four sweet boys when he needed help。  Armstrong was a very humble man who was trying to do the best he could with his farm and his four sweet sons。  He did not like needing help from anyone。I enjoyed the Piece Maker ladies who liked to play matchmaker and give out their sweet ad I really liked this second book in the series because of the wonderful characters。  Glory was a very down to earth character that loved her family and her life。  I liked how she opened her heart to help Armstrong and his four sweet boys when he needed help。  Armstrong was a very humble man who was trying to do the best he could with his farm and his four sweet sons。  He did not like needing help from anyone。I enjoyed the Piece Maker ladies who liked to play matchmaker and give out their sweet advice。 Their antics were interesting。This story was fun, sweet, and full of surprises just like author Jessie Gussman is known to do。  I really enjoyed the tale she wrote and the wonderful characters。  I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review。 。。。more

We should all be as hardworking, loving, and skilled as Glory Baldwin。 She's helping out at her family's auction when she makes a big mistake。 A cow has given birth in a pen and Glory hadn't noticed。 She is rescued by Armstrong, a local man that she knows only by sight and reputation。 Unfortunately, he is seriously injured during the rescue。 He is divorced with 4 small children, a farm with 100 head of cattle on it, and it's time for spring planting。Glory takes the job of taking care of the kids We should all be as hardworking, loving, and skilled as Glory Baldwin。 She's helping out at her family's auction when she makes a big mistake。 A cow has given birth in a pen and Glory hadn't noticed。 She is rescued by Armstrong, a local man that she knows only by sight and reputation。 Unfortunately, he is seriously injured during the rescue。 He is divorced with 4 small children, a farm with 100 head of cattle on it, and it's time for spring planting。Glory takes the job of taking care of the kids, and she picks up a whole lot more on the farm- including maybe, possibly, a romantic interest in Armstrong。This is a loving, sweet book and I loved the characters。I received an advance reader copy from the author。 This is my honest review。 。。。more

I love how Armstrong is so willing to risk his life / health to save Glory。 With being the sole parent to his 4 boys, it's amazing, and for Glory to step right up and assist him with his kids while he heals is naturally what she's been brought up to do。 I love how she can seamlessly make all that work look。 She's used to hard work and doing her share - her brother tells Armstrong that she can do it, and she does。 I love how attracted they are to each other and how their romance works out。 I also I love how Armstrong is so willing to risk his life / health to save Glory。 With being the sole parent to his 4 boys, it's amazing, and for Glory to step right up and assist him with his kids while he heals is naturally what she's been brought up to do。 I love how she can seamlessly make all that work look。 She's used to hard work and doing her share - her brother tells Armstrong that she can do it, and she does。 I love how attracted they are to each other and how their romance works out。 I also love how Glory - even though she's uncomfortable, takes care of Armstrong's ex。 What a great book! 。。。more

Armstrong's been busy ever since his wife left him with four kids to care for。 He certainly doesn't have time to be on the sick list! But when he sees Glory being charged by a cow, he steps in to rescue her without a second thought。 Glory barely knows Armstrong and his boys, but when he saves her from injury, she feels obliged to step in and help him look after the boys and the farm while he heals。 But somehow, looking after them all starts to feel dangerously like the home she's always wanted。 Armstrong's been busy ever since his wife left him with four kids to care for。 He certainly doesn't have time to be on the sick list! And when his ex reappears, will their fledgling relationship be strong enough to stand up to the strain? As always with this author, this is an enjoyable and inspiring story, with interesting characters facing more or less unusual situations。 In this case, I appreciated the way that Glory was willing to just step in and do what she could to help - particularly when it then came to 'the ex'。 It's a touching story and a really good reminder of how we should treat others。 And this inspiring message is the background of a story that is enjoyable and entertaining in itself。 All in all, well worth a read, and the teaser in the epilogue definitely has me looking forward to the next book。 Recommended。Note that I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author。 I was not required to write a positive review and this is my considered opinion of the book。 。。。more

Glory is one of the most selfless characters I have ever read about。 She is a sweetheart with a heart of gold based in the Lord and not in herself。 Armstrong is one strong character who steps in without a second thought to himself。 They really a made for each other but will they really see it? His boys were adorable and immediately took to Glory。 Of course there is a bit of angst but it was woven into the story in such a way that it seemed like it needed to be there。 One of the sweetest endings。

I had an ARC copy of this book, but this is my honest and voluntary opinion。 Armstrong Brandt saved Glory Baldwin from being trampled by a cow, and received several broken ribs for his efforts。 He needs help with his children and his farm and Glory steps in to take the job。 The plot of this book includes, forgiveness, accepting help, and giving help to others。 It’s a tender faith filled story by master storyteller, Jessie Gussman。

Armstrong needs help with his boys and ranch after he gets hurt trying to save Glory。 Glory of course offers to help。 Glory loves the boys and being with them and keeping house。 Glory is also adept at most of the ranch chores。 Armstrong could not of dreamed someone could be such a help。 This circumstance makes him reflect on himself a bit。 Altogether it is a growth experience for both of them。 If it should turn into a romance well, all the better! Sweet, lovely story of human kindness。

Armstrong and Glory’s story is a sweet, clean and charming romance。 Before the accident at the auction barns, they knew of each other only in passing。 After he was hurt saving Glory from being trampled by a cow, Glory volunteered to care for his four young sons while Armstrong sought medical attention。 This action starts them on a path toward self-discovery, faith and eventually a future together。 Working with Armstrong on his farm and taking care of his boys changes Glory’s view of herself。 She Armstrong and Glory’s story is a sweet, clean and charming romance。 Before the accident at the auction barns, they knew of each other only in passing。 After he was hurt saving Glory from being trampled by a cow, Glory volunteered to care for his four young sons while Armstrong sought medical attention。 This action starts them on a path toward self-discovery, faith and eventually a future together。 Working with Armstrong on his farm and taking care of his boys changes Glory’s view of herself。 She is better with kids than she had ever thought she could be and helping Armstrong as he heals is no hardship, rather she finds it rewarding in so many ways。 For Armstrong, Glory’s connection with his sons and himself shows him what was missing in his relationship with his ex wife。 It also reveals some of his own shortcomings, things that he needs to improve upon if he wishes to have Glory in his future。 He wants to see if he and Glory can have a relationship other than employer and employee。 With the encouragement or nudging of the Piece Makers, (a group of quilters and charitable women and matchmakers), both Armstrong and Glory begin to see that God had a hand in bringing them together。 A future together will take work, effort and faith for both of them, but love is worth it。 I loved the connection between Armstrong and Glory。 They complement each other well and their story is wonderful and inspiring。 I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review。 。。。more

He risked her life to save her。 She is going to help him get better while taking care of his four children and helping in his farm。 Glory can’t risk her heart to be broken。 Armstrong ex-wife walked out of him and their four children and his soul is scarred。 Can they work together and find a common ground to happiness? Another really wonderful story by Jessie Gussman。 Armstrong and Glory are thrown together due to his getting broken ribs while saving her from a charging cow。 Glory lives her faith by doing things how God wants。 It is great to see all the interactions between Armstrong, his four boys and Glory as their relationship grows。 The ending was a big surprise that I was not expecting。 I loved this one and highly recommend it。I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review。

I really enjoyed this story about Glory and Armstrong。 Their relationship started in an unexpected manner with Armstrong saving Glory from being trampled by a cow。 Unfortunately, Armstrong was injured in the process。 The interaction between the main characters was “real” and reading about people who try to live up to what God asks of us is so inspiring。

Will she be the mom the boys deserve?
